Evaluation Support to Community

EREC partners with communities to turn local needs and questions into useful evidence and action. Our approach is collaborative, responsive, and grounded in the strengths and capacities of the communities we serve. To that end, EREC staff:

  • Understand community needs and capacity through listening, consultation, and assessment
  • Co-develop research and evaluation plans that align with community priorities and capacity
  • Connect communities with university talent and resources including faculty expertise, students, and specialized resources
  • Build research and evaluation capacity to strengthen organizations’ ability to use data
  • Create easy-to-use tools and resources such as surveys, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Translate data into actionable information with clear findings and recommendations for decision-making and improvement
  • Support grant development by strengthening outcomes, evaluation plans, and evidence

Our goal is to work alongside communities to generate evidence that is practical, actionable, and responsive to local priorities.
